How We Write and Check Our Calculators

Every page on EduCGPA Calculator starts with a rule: a conversion formula, a grade scale, an attendance limit or a marking scheme. We look for that rule in the place it is published, such as a university ordinance, the back of a grade card, an exam information bulletin or a board circular. Where two sources disagree, we follow the official one and say so on the page.

Building the calculators

The calculators run in your browser. We test each one against worked examples taken from the official source, and against edge cases such as a CGPA at the boundary of a band or a section with no negative marking. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

Writing the guides

We use AI writing tools to help produce first drafts of the explanations around each calculator. A person on our team then checks every formula, number and example against the source, rewrites anything unclear and removes anything we could not confirm. AI tools never decide a formula or a number on their own.

Keeping pages current

Universities change schemes and exam bodies change patterns. We review pages when a new scheme or bulletin comes out, and the date at the top of each page shows when it was last checked. If you spot something out of date, please tell us through the contact page.
